Movies - News - Rhys-Davies 'won't return for 'Hobbit' - Digital Spy

Movies - News - Rhys-Davies 'won't return for 'Hobbit' - Digital Spy:

"John Rhys-Davies has ruled out appearing in The Hobbit films.

Rhys-Davies, who portrayed dwarf Gimli in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, told Empire, that he has no desire to come back and play Gimli's father Gloin, who appears in author JRR Tolkien's novel on which the new films are based.

'I've already been asked and to be honest with you, I wouldn't,' the British actor said. 'I have already completely ruled it out. There's a sentimental part of me that would love to be involved again. Really I am not sure my face can take that sort of punishment any more.'"

Top 5 Directors We’d Love to Direct More Star Wars Films | Fused Film

Top 5 Directors We’d Love to Direct More Star Wars Films | Fused Film:

"1. Neill Blomkamp - You look at this guy and his humble beginnings as a special effects animator for Smallville, Stargate SG-1 and Dark Angel and then his triumphant partnership with Peter Jackson for his feature film debut with District 9, based off his great short film. The guy is a sci-fi guru and his skills in animation combined with his creative writing just screams for a cool Star Wars movie, whether it be original or based off something in the expanded universe. Blomkamp is arguably the best choice for directing 1 or 2 movies in the Star Wars universe."

Brilliant first choice, check out their other 4 coices by following the link!

I'd love to see some more star wars!

Stephen Fry is Writing Peter Jackson's Dambusters Remake? « FirstShowing.net

Stephen Fry is Writing Peter Jackson's Dambusters Remake? « FirstShowing.net:

"AICN has a report from a reader (which makes me a bit worried about the accuracy of this) who attended a charity event with English actor/writer/comedian Stephen Fry. During the Q&A, Fry apparently revealed that Peter Jackson's Dambusters remake 'was in pre-production' and that Fry himself was actually writing the screenplay. He also said that Jackson had already created (and built?) the Lancaster Bombers down in New Zealand in order to prepare for shooting. No dates were mentioned, but this is a lot information that we haven't ever heard before, which is why I'm both excited by this news and a bit unsure of it being true."

hmmm, do you think it'll work?

not too sure about Fry's abilities myself....

Doug Jones On Silver Surfer And Green Lantern

Doug Jones On Silver Surfer And Green Lantern Movies:

"The man behind Silver Surfer, Abe Sapien and most recently that creepy looking demon in Legion talks about a solo movie for Surfer as well as the rumors that he will be appearing in the Green Lantern."

Doug Jones is amazing, and I think his acting carreer is going to get a lot better... hopefully he'll be in Hobbit as well!

Review: The Anarchist’s Wife

ivana-baquero.net » Blog Archive » Review: The Anarchist’s Wife:

Ivana Baquero

Well, obviously this section is the part that we will be most interested in! And you all know what I’m about to say: SHE WAS AMAZING!!!!!!

Ivana plays a fairly main part as supporting cast, and as a fan, I was quite satisfied with her role!

Ivana show perfect emotion, with her lovely Spanish voice, and just as beautiful, if not MORE beautiful as she was in Pan’s Labyrinth!

Ivana gets to put on some lovely clothes in this movie, and I will endeavor over the coming days to give you a few beautiful screenshots from the movie!

Everything Else That Can (and Probably WILL) Go Wrong with THE HOBBIT Movie | TheTorchOnline.com

Everything Else That Can (and Probably WILL) Go Wrong with THE HOBBIT Movie TheTorchOnline.com:
"I’m not so sure. Here are my predictions for what can — and almost certainly will — jeopardize The Hobbit next:

- A man who went to kindergarten with Tolkien will sue the producers for a share of the profits, claiming the Lord of the Rings author plagiarized his books from the man’s contributions to “storytime.”

- Andy Serkis will insist on playing the part of Gollum with the voice of Donald Duck.

- Swine flu will take out the entire New Line staff."

Lol some of these are quite funny! click the link above to read more!
