Rumor: The Hobbit Delayed Until 2012? - Screen Rant
Rumor: The Hobbit Delayed Until 2012? - Screen Rant:
"This could either be another piece of false news that Guillermo del Toro or Peter Jackson will soon debunk, or a pretty major downer for us fans: Hot on the heels of Jackson revealing a few days ago that The Hobbit will start filming in summer 2010 – putting it on course for Part 1’s already-planned release of December 2011 – word comes that the adaptation will be delayed a full year, not hitting screens until 2012."
hmmm, I recon it's true as, they aren't filming till the summer :(

Jackson Says Tintin Done & Hobbit Staying 2D | Movie Moron
Jackson Says Tintin Done & Hobbit Staying 2D | Movie Moron:
"Any of you folks who regularly visit Movie-Moron may know of my deep-seated hatred for 3D, so it comes as a great relief to me to find out that The Hobbit will NOT be shot in 3D after earlier suggestions it might. “Guillermo wants to shoot in 35mm, old-fashioned film,” Jackson said, “which suits me, because he wants to keep it in the same space as the original trilogy”."
Hmm, me is not too, happy, I want it in 3D.... O well, I guess Del Toro knows what he's doing!

Brian Cox to Play a Dwarf in 'The Hobbit'? :: Samay Live
Brian Cox to Play a Dwarf in 'The Hobbit'? :: Samay Live:
"London: Rumours are rife that Brian Cox may play a dwarf in 'The Hobbit'.
Imdb.com reports that there are 13 dwarves in 'The Hobbit', travelling with Bilbo and Gandalf, and the most important of them would be Thorin Oakenshield or Balin. It is not known which dwarf Cox would be playing, but it's hard to imagine an actor of his calibre as one of the lesser cast."

Guillermo del Toro Says He'll Appear in The Hobbit as a Creature « FirstShowing.net:
"Although we just ran a big update from Guillermo del Toro on all things The Hobbit last week, we have yet another interesting, and pretty damn cool, update to feature today. Over on The One Ring forums (via SlashFilm), someone translated an interview with del Toro where he said: 'In The Hobbit I will play a small monster. I will transform myself in a small creature, not an important monster, just a 'background' type.'"
Wow, just like Del Toro, can't wait to see it!
